Today, we loaded up the Prius and went an hour south to Rinku Town, an outlet mall just across the way from the artificial island on which Kansai International Airport sits.

While it was supposed to rain all day, we lucked out with some sunshine! So after hitting up the Vans and New Era stores … and getting our little eater nice and fed, we set up our park blanket on the grass near a beach.

Rio saw what Marina and I estimate to be somewhere between 30 and 100 dogs! I’ve included a video where you can hear the cute little voice he makes when he sees a canine pal.

On our way back, we hit up a cafe we’d scouted out on Instagram some time back. The best part was the Dippin Dots!
